Best Asset Finance are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of any information you provide to use during the process of enquiring about, and using our Finance Broker services. The purpose of this statement is to set out how we use any personal information that we may obtain from you.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration reference Z8683422 and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation in all our dealings with your personal data.

When you make enquiries to us about asset finance, we will need to gather information from you about your requirements and circumstances to enable us to recommend suitable products to you. We will provide written quotations to you by email (or post if preferred) so we will need to obtain the necessary contact details from you in order to do this.

If you decide to proceed with an order, we will need to obtain further personal information from you in order to assess the affordability of the product you have chosen, and to present this information to the funder for their credit assessment. In addition, the funder may request bank statements, accounts/financials for business applications, or payslips for individuals. For both personal and business applications there will be a requirement for proof of identity to be provided; this is usually in the form of a driving licence, passport and sometimes utility bill. This information is added to our funders’ secure online portals and further copies are held by us, digitally on our secure network and in paper files in our locked office.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect from you.

To enable us to deliver our services to you and fulfil our duties to regulatory bodies, we may share your details with third parties such as professional advisors who provide consultancy, legal and accounting services. We will not however, sell, distribute or lease your personal information to other third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. If you are an existing customer then we will add your email address to our email marketing platform and you have the option to unsubscribe from this at any time by using the unsubscribe link on any of our marketing emails or by emailing us requesting your removal on info@bestassetfinance.com.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect of incomplete, please write to or email us as soon possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
